I used to always buy Perdue chicken because it was tender and had a good flavor. In the past few years I have been very disappointed with the quality.
I just bought chicken *** with the bone and skin. They were larger than normal and had no flavor and were not tender. Past experience with buying beef that is larger than normal and has no flavor usually means the use of hormones. Does the USDA test for hormone use?
Or is it the salt solution that takes away the flavor. In either case I can no longer count on Perdue chicken.
