Been buying Purdue for 35 years and only in the past 8 or 10 years have they gotten huge and tougher and tougher. It is like they are processing dead rigamortis-set-in-already chickens. I read about the "woody" chicken breasts and how they don't know why it is...Read more
Perdue Farms - Rubbery thin sliced breast
I buy Perdue thin sliced cutlets often. In every package I can always guarantee that one cutlet has a weird hard rubbery texture. Why does this happen? It’s a waste I have to throw the cutlet out. It is almost like a cartilage cutlet.
I just literally pulled a foreign object from my chicken which looks to me like a little piece of a rock I compared it with the bone trying to give the benefit of the doubt not even the same color I could have ate that chipped my tooth anyting I am highly disappointed...Read more
Perdue Farms - Keep hanging up
Tried to call customer relations over a problem I have been dealing with for over 6 months and they keep hanging up on me
Perdue Farms - Tough hairy hen.
Hen purchased at Publix 5/24 and good by date 5/30. Roadted last night but it smelled questionably unfresh. Couldnt slice it with a knife. Took back for refund.
Perdue Farms - Tough old bird
Hen smelled old. Bought 5/24 expiration date 5/30. Cooked tonight properly but so tough couldnt eat and raw bird had hair feathers. Very disappointed. Going back to Springer Mountain products.
The advertisement of the "vegetarian" fed chicken absolutely turned me off and I refuse to buy their chicken. They show all these "beautiful" White Leghorn chickens running around a grassy enclosure. What do you think the birds are eating? Tofu? BUGS, worms,...Read more
I didn't like
I roasted a whole perdue chicken in the oven as usual - took it out - temp 184 - let it sit - ate the drumstick and thigh intending to debone the rest of the chicken and refrigerate for future meals - Taste good - look great as usual - Let it rest for 30 minutes while...Read more
Perdue Farms - Chicken wingettes
This is a suggestion. I think that you should package you frozen wingettes like this. Bags containing only the flat pieces and bags containing only the drumstick part to let the costomer decide what pieces they want. There is always to many drumstick parts in a bag.
Always buy Perdue Farms chicken thighs because we like the way the chicken is raised and taste. In the last few months the packages I have purchased have too much fat on them. The skin is not only on the top of the thighs, but it is wrapped completely around the bottom...Read more
