I bought my whole Perdue chicken and while prepping it, I split the breast open to find gross yellow substance in it. I called the customer service to inform them of my findings and she told me it was pulled muscle. I asked her what to do with the chicken, she said I...

Exactly what I thought, the chickens eat bugs if they're out doors. And they destroy grass. Get real Perdue.

Perdue Farms - Purdue Boneless Chicken *** from BJs

I have noticed the same exact issue over the last 4 months. Always from the packs of boneless chicken brrasts purchased at BJs. Some pieces are hard while others are tender. The hard pieces are chewy and have a different texture. The other pieces are tender enough to break up with just a fork. It just doesn't taste right. I think I will stop buying Purdue chicken.

Perdue Farms - Gross

That is not chicken. Go to a local farm or buy organic and compare it to the crap they are trying to sell.

Very rarely buy Perdue as it is always pricey. Splurged on a 7lb roaster as I was having a guest for dinner. I have cooked many, many roast chickens and this was the most disappointing ever. When my husband attempted to carve it he thought there was something wrong...
